Waterproof performance of diffuse reflection photoelectric switch

1. Mainstream waterproof rating: IP67
Most industrial grade diffuse reflection photoelectric switches have an IP67 protection level (dustproof and capable of short-term immersion in water up to 1 meter deep), for example:

2. Adaptability to special environments
Corrosion resistant and high-temperature design:
Some models use stainless steel shells or PTFE coatings, suitable for corrosive environments such as chemical and food processing
High temperature resistant models (such as 120 ℃~180 ℃) are equipped with optical glass lenses to prevent corrosion from steam or high-temperature liquids
Anti interference capability:
Dual stage filtering design can resist harmonic interference from frequency converters and is suitable for strong electromagnetic environments
3. Limitations of Waterproof Performance
Not completely waterproof: IP67 only guarantees short-term immersion protection, and requires a dedicated diving model for long-term underwater use.
Mirror contamination impact: Lens adhesion to oil or water stains may reduce detection accuracy and requires regular cleaning (chemical solvents are prohibited)
