During the operation of the printer, the host will transmit the content that needs to be printed, usually in the form of code. After being processed by the printer input interface circuit, the content is sent to the printer's main control circuit.

Under the control of the control program, the encoding of characters or graphics is generated to drive the print head to print a column of dot matrix graphics. At the same time, the carriage moves laterally to generate column spacing or spacing, and then the next column is printed, and so on.

After printing one line, start the paper feeding mechanism to feed the paper, generate line spacing, and at the same time, press Enter to wrap the print head, print the next line, and so on until the final printing is completed.

When the printer senses paper, an infrared sensing switch is applied, which is an essential infrared sensing device in printing engineering.
TR8307 has the characteristics of high sensitivity, fast response time, and long lifespan, making it very suitable for use in printer paper feeding programs.
Other common applications of ITR8307:

1. Common office equipment: such as copiers and scanners. Determine whether there is paper in the paper slot by detecting whether there is an object, and determine whether the machine cover is closed or whether the paper slot is closed by detecting the distance. It can be used for other office equipment with similar structures.

2. Non contact switch: detects whether someone is approaching and responds accordingly. This type of use is very extensive and can replace ordinary switches, automatic lighting for stairs, automatic faucets, automatic flushing toilets, etc. For devices that only require people to approach before working, this type of switch can be used.

3. Smart home: such as robotic vacuum cleaners. Most smart homes require distance sensing, so for most smart devices that can be automatically controlled, reflective photoelectric switches can be used as distance sensors.
