Targeted application scenarios
Wind tube optocoupler: mainly used in wind tube products, especially high-speed wind tubes. High speed air ducts usually use microcomputer control technology, which requires precise control of motor speed, different temperature settings of multiple heaters, etc. The air duct optocoupler needs to cooperate with these control requirements to achieve efficient management and precise control of high-power loads (such as motors, heaters, etc.) inside the air duct,
Ordinary optocoupler: It has a wider range of application scenarios and is used in various electronic devices and systems. For example, it serves as an interface device for signal isolation in computer digital communication and real-time control, and as a terminal isolation element to improve signal-to-noise ratio in long-distance information transmission. It can be used to isolate high-voltage and low-voltage circuits, or to regulate noise interference and electrical isolation
Performance requirements focus on
Wind duct optocoupler:
Heat dissipation performance: The air duct generates a lot of heat during operation, and the air duct optocoupler needs to have good heat dissipation performance to ensure stable operation in high temperature environments.
Response speed: In order to achieve rapid and precise adjustment of the fan motor speed and heater temperature, the fan optocoupler may require a relatively fast response speed.
Power processing capability: The motor, heater, and other loads in the air duct have high power, and the air duct optocoupler needs to be able to handle the large power to ensure reliable control of these loads.
Ordinary optocoupler: Performance requirements depend on specific application scenarios. For example, in situations where signal transmission speed is not required, the requirement for response speed may be lower; In some low-power electronic devices, the requirement for power processing capability is relatively low. However, in some applications that require high signal isolation and anti-interference, ordinary optocouplers pay more attention to their electrical insulation and anti-interference capabilities.
Structural design features
Although optocouplers are mostly packaged with light-emitting diodes and photosensitive devices in the same housing, there may be differences in specific structures:
Wind duct optocoupler: It may be optimized for the internal space structure and working environment of the wind duct, such as in terms of packaging form, which may be more convenient for installation and layout in the limited space of the wind duct. At the same time, the design of the heat dissipation structure will also be considered.
Ordinary optocoupler: The structural design is mainly based on its universal application requirements, and may pay more attention to meeting the installation and connection requirements of different types of circuits. There are multiple packaging options to adapt to different circuit board designs
