PD charger is a new type of charger that has emerged with the popularity of mobile terminals such as smartphones and tablets for express delivery. Compared to traditional chargers, PD chargers have faster charging speeds and higher charging efficiency, gradually becoming the preferred solution for charging mobile devices. In the application field of PD chargers, the optocoupler AT1018 series has been widely used as an important component.
The optocoupler TD1018 in PD chargers is mainly used to detect the output voltage and current of the charger, and feedback the signal to the main control chip for control. The safety and stability of PD chargers enable them to better meet market demand. The optocoupler TD1018 is mainly composed of a photoelectric emitter and a photodiode. In a PD charger, the photoelectric emitter receives control information sent by the main control chip and emits a light signal. After passing through the isolation layer, the light signal reaches the photodiode to generate photoelectric effect, which generates output signal feedback to the main control chip, thereby achieving control of the charger's output voltage and current.
